About The United Association
The United Association dates back to the year 1889. Since then, no other organization has served the training needs of the piping industry like the United Association. For over a century, the UA has been training the most highly-qualified workers in the United States and Canada. LU131 2012 Scholarship Applications Now Available
Application submission deadline is June 30, 2012
(PLEASE NOTE: this is a “reimbursement” plan. If your child has not yet attended college, they are ineligible. They can apply NEXT year after completing at least one semester of classes.)
Local 131 members can pick up application forms with eligibility rules at the Union Hall office @ 161 Londonderry Turnpike, Hooksett NH -OR - download and print right here. Click on the "Scholarship" button in the column to the left of this page.

There are two DIFFERENT application forms, depending on whether or not you WON a UA scholarship last year: 1) an abreviated application form for 2011 winners and 2) the full version for all others.

LU131 JATC Now Accepting Apprenticeship Applications!!
The application form is available by clicking the "FORMS" button in the list to the left of this screen. It must be printed, filled out completely and submitted with the required documentation to the Local 131 union office by May 19th.
Application forms are also available at the Local 131 office.

CANCELLATIONS AND NOTICES
The next scheduled Contract Vote is May 23, 2012 - 7:00pm at the LU131 Union Hall.
The next scheduled Union Meeting is June 13, 2012.
There will be NO ELECTIONS held, as all opening positions were unopposed with the exception of two, which had NO accepted nominees and will require appointment.
